Configure scanning devices to only scan specific ticket types or tags
With Easol's ticketing management partner, Qflow, you can configure scanning devices to scan specific ticket types only. This is useful for events with designated areas for certain ticket holders, like VIP guests.
To configure your device to only scan specific ticket types:
- Make sure your device is already set up for event check-in.
- Go to the Guest list tab and select the Filter text link in the header.
- Click Deselect All to turn off all filter data options or select one or more ticket types that the device can check-in via barcode scanning.
- Select the back arrow on the top left to return to the Guest list.
- Select the Scan tab and commence ticket scanning.
- Your device is now configured to check in only a set list of ticket types. You can revert or update the settings at any time.
Important: These settings are local to the individual device and will be lost if the app is logged out of, or the device is turned off.
