Configure scanning devices to only scan specific ticket types or tags
With Easol Access, you can configure scanners devices to scan specific ticket types or tags only. This is useful for events with designated areas for certain ticket holders, like VIP guests.
If you’re filtering scans by tags, make sure that you’ve created tags on Easol Access first.
To configure your device to only scan specific ticket types and tags:
- Make sure your device is already set up for event check-in.
- Go to the Settings tab and toggle on the Apply filter to scan button.
- Return to the Guest tab and click Filter.
- Click Deselect All and select one or more ticket types and/or tags that the device can check-in.
Your device is now configured to check-in only a set list of ticket types and/or tags. You can revert or update the settings at any time.
