Add and edit authors

An author is the writer attributed to a blog post. You can add as many authors as you like and then link them to individual blog posts. This allows you to easily manage author bio descriptions and avatar images. Note that the display of author descriptions and images depends on your website theme.

How to add an author

1. From your admin dashboard, go to Blog > Authors.
2. Click New Author.
3. Fill in the Name of the author. This is a required field.
4. Next, you have the option to add a bio description using the text editor and upload an avatar image.
5. Click Save to publish changes.

How to assign an author to a blog post

1. From your admin dashboard, go to Blog > Posts.
2. Select a blog post.
3. Under Author, use the dropdown menu to select an author.
4. Click Save to publish changes.

How to delete an author

1. From your admin dashboard, go to Blog > Authors.
2. Select the author you want to delete.
3. Click Delete.

Warning: Deleting authors is a permanent action that cannot be undone.
