Add and edit biographies
Biographies is a type of content in the Content Library designed for experience businesses that feature a large lineup of hosts, for example a culinary experience working with many chefs or a yoga festival working with many instructors.
Biographies allow you to create a dedicated page for each person, with their bio and social media, and link them to specific experiences that you're selling. The design of these pages varies depending on your website theme.
How to add a biography
- From your admin dashboard, go to Content Library > Biographies.
- Click New.
- Fill in the Name of the person you're creating a biography for.
- Next, you can fill out the details about the person's biography, including:
- Link
- Business
- Location
- Image
- Description
- Click Create.
- The biography is now created. Click on the View button to see the biography page.
How to edit a biography
- From your admin dashboard, go to Content Library > Biographies.
- Select the name of the biography you'd like to edit. If you have a large list of biographies, you can use the search bar to quickly find a biography by name.
- Edit the details of biography.
- Click Save to publish changes.
How to change the URL of a biography
- From your admin dashboard, go to Content Library > Biographies.
- Select the name of the biography you'd like to edit. If you have a large list of biographies, you can use the search bar to quickly find a biography by name.
- Under URL, change the slug of the URL of the biography. Make sure to use all lowercase letters and separate words by a dash (-). Do not add any spaces or special characters other than a dash.
- Click Save to publish changes.
How to delete a biography
- From your admin dashboard, go to Content Library > Biographies.
- Select the name of the biography you'd like to edit. If you have a large list of biographies, you can use the search bar to quickly find a biography by name.
- Click Delete and confirm via the popup.
Warning: This is a permanent removal – you cannot undo this change.
