Terms and conditions for renting scanning hardware
Ahead of renting scanning hardware, we will share a scanning hardware hire agreement with you to sign which outlines the terms of the hire.
An overview of the key terms and conditions you should be made aware of when hiring the hardware are stated below.
Cost and shipping
- Renting scanning hardware from Easol may be subject to a charge. You will need to pay shipping fees, including taxes, for receiving and returning scanning hardware.
- Shipping fees must be paid in advance before we can ship scanning hardware to you.
- Shipping time varies depending on your location.
- The scanning hardware must be shipped back to Easol within the agreed timeframe after your event end date.
Terms of use
- You will use the scanning hardware for its intended purpose of event check-in only. To be used by box offices and guest personnel staff only as requested in advance. The devices should use the Qflow app for only this purpose.
- Unless you receive written consent from Easol, you must not alter, modify, or attach anything to the scanning hardware.
Loss and damage
- You will be responsible for the risk of loss, theft, damage, or destruction to the equipment from any and every cause.
- If the scanning hardware is lost or damaged upon return, you will need to pay the replacement fees outlined in the agreement no more than 7 days after the event ends.
Insurance
- Easol will insure the contents during transit to and from your event only (valid in the UK only). This insurance is only valid when you use Easol's approved collection service.
- You shall maintain in force insurance policies for the duration of use with reputable insurance companies covering any loss or damages to the equipment in full. You shall produce to Easol upon request full particulars of that insurance and the receipt for the then-current premium.
