Add your VAT number
If your company is based in the UK or EU, you can add your Value Added Tax (VAT) number to your Easol dashboard.
The VAT number is used by Easol to calculate and charge VAT on your Easol transaction fee and payment processing fees.
Once entered, your trading address and VAT number can automatically appear in the footer of all automated emails sent to customers via Easol. For more details on automated emails, learn more here.
If you wish to charge and report on VAT on your experiences on Easol, you need to create the appropriate taxes and tax rates in your payment settings. You can enter any tax registration numbers there as well, which will then appear on the invoices you issue.
Add your Trading address
- In Easol, go to Settings > General.
- Under Trading Address, add your company details, including:
- Street address
- Zip code
- Town/city
- Country
- Click Save.
- Once your trading address is entered, ensuring it is an address from the UK or EU, the VAT info area will appear and you can proceed with the steps below to add your VAT number.
