Intro to marketing analytics
Marketing analytics is critical for tracking website performance, as well as optimising your website and marketing campaigns for traffic and conversions. Easol allows you to integrate Google Analytics and Facebook Pixel to do this.
Setting up Google Analytics and Facebook Pixel
There are two ways to set up Google Analytics and Facebook Pixel. We recommend using both methods to ensure that analytics is tracking your entire website.
1. Direct integration
Direct integration involves inputting your Google Analytics tracking ID and Facebook Pixel ID directly into your Easol admin. Note that direct integration will be applied to your checkout pages only.
2. Google Tag Manager
Google Tag Manager (GTM) is a tag management system that allows you to add code snippets to your website. This allows you to install third-party integrations such as Google Analytics and Facebook Pixel, as well as live chat widgets.
Google Tag Manager and all third-party integrations using it will be applied to all pages of your website except for your checkout pages. This ensures that third-party code won't interfere with checkout.
