Add a newsletter signup form to your website
Adding a newsletter signup to your website lets you collect customer email addresses so that you can send email marketing campaigns to drive traffic and boost sales.
How to add a newsletter signup form to your website
1. Choose a email marketing platform
Before you can add a newsletter signup form to your website, you'll need to choose an email marketing platform.
We recommend Mailchimp as it's the fastest way to integrate with a standard website theme but any email marketing platforms can be integrated with Easol as long as they allow you to embed a signup form on your website.
Below are some other popular email marketing platforms that you can use for newsletter signup forms:
Solution | Integration Method |
ActiveCampaign | HTML embed |
Campaign Monitor | HTML embed |
Drip | HTML embed |
Hubspot | HTML embed and iframe embed options |
The appearance and functionality of the signup form will depend on the solution you choose. In general, signup forms that allow you to create a HTML embed, will have more flexibility in terms of appearance, but may require some HTML/CSS knowledge to create the desired style.
2. Create a signup form
Using your chosen email marketing platform, create a signup form and configure the required fields (e.g. "Name", "Email Address"). This process will vary depending on your platform.
3. Embed the signup form
Next, copy the signup form's code (HTML or iframe) and paste in one of the following theme blocks. Note: some themes may require you to activate the Add a custom signup form toggle in order to display the signup form.
Theme name | Blocks with Mailchimp Integration |
Alchemist |

4. Test your signup form
We recommend testing your signup form by submitting your email to ensure that emails are correctly being added to your email marketing platform.
