Password protect a website page

Password protection can be used for sending website pages that are viewable by people outside your company but inaccessible for everyone else — great for sharing links to exclusive experiences or deals to your customers.

Note: The style of the password protection depends on your website theme.

How to password protect a website page

1. Go to Site and select the page you'd like to add password protection.
2. Click the three-dot settings button and select Password protection.
3. Set a password for your page.

The website page is now password protected! Website visitors who enter a password to view the page can re-visit without entering a password for 24 hours. If the password is changed, visitors will be prompted to enter a password again.

How to send magic links

When you password protect a website page, a magic link is automatically generated. This link allows the website visitor to view the password protected page without entering a password.

1. Go to Site and select the page with password protection.
2. Under Password protection in the sidebar, click Copy magic link.

How to view and change a password

1. Go to Site and select the page with password protection.
2. Under Password protection in the sidebar, click Edit.
3. Enter a new password and click Save.

How to remove password protection

1. Go to Site and select the page you'd like to remove password protection.
2. Under Password protection in the sidebar, click Remove.

The website page is now accessible for everyone.
