Upload a favicon

A favicon is a small icon (usually a brand logo) associated with a website that’s displayed within the browser tabs and bookmarks bar. Easol sets a default favicon to your website but we recommend uploading your own.

How to generate a favicon

You can create a favicon with any design tool, such as Figma and Canva, or you can upload your logo to a favicon generator like Favicon.io.

The recommended size for a favicon is 32x32 and can be a PNG or ICO file. Consider adding a solid background colour to your favicon – this will ensure your favicon is always visible on both light and dark themed web browsers.

How to upload a favicon

1. Go to Site, choose the site version you'd like to update.
2. Select Site Settings.
3. Navigate to the Favicon tab and click Add Image.
4. Click Save to publish changes.
