Guest Access
When your customers choose Split costs with friends later, they’ll be prompted to add their guests to the booking. These guests will then be notified to set up their own user account. From there, guests will be able to join the booking and make a payment.
Changing guests
When changing guest details, a guest’s email address is changed in a booking edit. This removes that guest’s access to the booking, and this may be a guest who already contributed to the booking.
Refunds
When issuing a refund on a booking with multiple payers, you will have the option to select which items are refunded, in addition to how much each guest should be refunded.
Guest Payments
All guests can make payments toward the booking total by:
- Making multiple balance payments - they don’t have to pay off their entire share in one payment.
- Paying less than their share and others can pay more (i.e. It’s somebody’s birthday and the other guests pay for that person’s share)
When guests make payments, they can see how much is left to pay of their suggested share.
Important: The lead booker is accountable for paying off the entire booking total if guests decide not to contribute.
