How customers view and manage their bookings
The customer booking system
Your Easol company account comes with a customer booking system, on your domain, that allows customers to view and manage their bookings with your business. Your customer booking system can be found at yourdomain.com/bookings.
Automated customer emails, such as the booking confirmation email, will contain a link to your customer booking system but we recommend linking to it on your website as well for your customers' convenience.
Note: The customer booking system was previously found at myeasol.com/bookings. If you've used the old link anywhere on your website or communications, it'll still be accessible and functional for customers but we recommend updating the link to yourdomain.com/bookings.
How the customer booking system works
When a customer books an experience for the first time, they will be prompted to create an account with your booking system. They can then log into your booking system at yourdomain.com/bookings to manage bookings made with your business, including:
- View all past and upcoming bookings
- Fill in their check-in information (if available)
- Download e-tickets (if available)
- Make any further selections (if available)
- Update payment details (for deposits and payment plans)
If a customer decided to invite other guests on the booking to access it and enter their own information, they will receive a guest invitation email and they will be prompted to create an account as well. Once they are logged in, they will be able to:
- View the bookings there were added to by others (and any that they themselves made).
- Fill in their own check-in information
- Download e-tickets
- Make any further selections for themselves
For other booking enquiries, such as adding/removing items and issuing refunds, you can make amendments for customers via Easol's booking manager.
Note: If a customer forgets their login details, they can request a change of password at yourdomain.com/passwords/new.
