Correct lead booker fields for misspelt email addresses
If a customer has entered a misspelt email on their booking, you can update the lead booker's details directly within the booking. Use this option only for correcting details such as their name, email, and phone number. This method should not be used for booking transfers to a different customer.
Note: If the new email address is unavailable, it indicates the customer has multiple accounts. In such cases, you'll need to transfer the booking to the correct email instead.
How to correct lead booker fields
- Go to Bookings > All Bookings in your dashboard and select the Booking Reference of the booking you want to edit.
- Locate the Customer Details section on the right side of the booking.
- Click Edit to open the editing panel.
- Make the necessary changes to the lead booker's name, email address, or phone number.
- Click Save changes.
The lead booker's details are now updated, and the change will be recorded in the Booking Timeline for reference. You also have the option to resend a booking confirmation email and welcome email to the customer within the Booking Timeline (recommended).
Important: When editing customer details, please be cautious as this change affects all bookings associated with the customer. Incorrect edits can lead to issues for your customer.
