Manage bookings with ticketing enabled
Understanding ticketing badges
Ticketing badges are the statuses of a customer's ticket(s). You can view the dispatch status of a customer's ticket(s) directly in their booking. If there is no status badge, that means ticketing was not enabled for that item or event.
There are five different status badges:
Scheduled: The item has been added to a ticketed event that has a scheduled dispatch date in the future.
Sent: The ticket was successfully sent for this item.
On hold: There is an outstanding customer action for the tickets in order for the tickets to be sent; either the customer needs to complete payment or complete the after checkout Guest Fields.
Overdue: A technical error has occurred on this ticket which we will have already been alerted to and our team will be resolving.
Cancelled: This refers to a line item where the booking has been cancelled. If a single item is removed from the booking, it will no longer display on the booking.
Adding or removing items from a booking
If an item is removed from a booking, the ticket will be cancelled if tickets have not been dispatched yet. If the tickets have been dispatched, the ticket will be void upon the item being removed from the booking.
Items added to a booking will inherit the ticket dispatch settings of that item. If the dispatch date is in the past, the ticket will be sent immediately.
To add or remove items from a booking, see our guide here.
Changing the name on a ticket
Changing the name or guest fields on a booking does not change the ticket dispatch status. If a customer's name is updated on the booking, the tickets will be updated to reflect the name change. If the name is changed and e-tickets haven't been dispatched yet, the new name will appear on the tickets when sent as per the dispatch settings.
If the name is changed after tickets have been dispatched, the customer will need to download the updated tickets from yourdomain.com/bookings.
To edit the Guest Fields on a booking, see our guide here.
Transferring a booking
If tickets have already been dispatched and the booking is transferred, the original tickets will automatically be voided and new tickets will be sent to the new lead booker.
If the booking has been transferred and e-tickets haven't been dispatched yet, then the new customer will receive the tickets as per the dispatch settings.
To transfer a booking, see our guide here.
Cancelling a booking
If tickets have already been dispatched and the booking is cancelled, the tickets will be void.
To cancel a booking, see our guide here.
