Schedules for multiple start dates and times
If your experience occurs regularly, such as every Thursday or every 15 minutes, a schedule can automatically generate all of your start dates and times. This saves you time from having to add them manually one-by-one.
If individual start dates and times have already been created and a schedule overlaps with them, the system will create the schedule around the existing dates without creating duplicates.
It is possible to have more than one schedule as long as the dates and times do not overlap. This is useful if you have a morning schedule and an evening schedule for the same time period, or separate summer and winter schedules.
Requirement: The multiple start dates and times feature is required in order to use schedules.
Set up a schedule
- Create an experience and complete the setup steps, including whether or not the experience will have time slots.
- Go to the Availability tab to configure the start dates and times.
- Use the Add schedule button to create a schedule. When you click Add schedule, you'll be presented with one of the following:
-
- A days of the week schedule
- A days and times schedule with the option to:
- Set time slots one-by-one
- Set interval-based repetition, such as every 15 minutes between X time and Y time. This duration represents the time between each start time, not the total duration of the experience which is set in the Overview tab. For example, you could have start times every 15 minutes even though the experience is 45 minutes long.
-
- Set your Start date. For all schedule types, you'll begin with a start date before configuring the start dates and times.
- (Optional) Choose to set an End date for the schedule or leave it open. Currently, only future start dates and times within a 3-month window can be generated. These will be continuously generated if no scheduled end date is set, or up to the end date if it's further than 6 months out.
- (Optional) Choose whether you would like to create a custom booking window.
- Your schedule has now been created and the system will begin generating your dates and times.
- Reload the page to view your dates and times.
Edit a schedule
- Open the experience with the schedule you are looking to edit.
- Navigate to the Availability tab.
- Click Schedules. Then, select Schedule settings.
- A panel will open on the right side with the schedule settings where you can add a schedule, exclude dates, or edit a previous schedule.
If the edit you are looking to make impacts an existing booking, a warning message will appear. In order to save the edit, you must first modify the impacted booking(s) before proceeding.
