How to edit a custom guest field
After saving a custom guest field, you can edit the question, reference label and hint text. If you’d like to change the question type, it’s recommended to create a new custom guest field.
If the name of the custom guest field and dropdown option names are edited after having been in use, the responses will remain valid and update to match the new name.
When the custom field dropdown option is removed after having been in use, the responses will still remain in the data and reports. However, if the guest or booking details are edited, you will be required to select a valid option.
To edit a custom guest field:
- Go to Settings > Custom data.
- Click the three-dot icon next to the question you’d like to update and select Edit.
- Make your edits.
- Click Save changes to publish changes.
