Taking payments in person via Easol POS
Easol POS allows you to take card payments at your experience using integrated Stripe terminals (card readers).
This guide explains how to send payments from bookings to a card reader.

Check you’re eligible
To use Easol POS card readers, your experience must meet the following requirements:
- Your experience must take place in the UK, US or Ireland
- You must have reliable Wi-Fi at your experience
- Easol POS must be enabled for your account

Take a payment for bookings created via the POS interface
If you created the booking using Easol’s ‘speedy booking’ POS interface, follow these steps:
- Add the customer’s first name and email address
- Click Take payment
- Choose one of the following options:
- Full (single payment)
- Partial (split between methods)
- Even split (for groups paying separately)
- Ask the customer to tap or insert their card on the reader
- If needed, the customer can scan the QR code on screen to receive a receipt
Take a payment for bookings created via your dashboard
If the booking was created via Bookings → Create booking, follow these steps:
- Under the Balance details section, click Add payment
- Confirm the customer’s contact details
- Select Pay in full or click Edit amount to take a partial payment
- Choose the card reader
- Ask the customer to tap or insert their card
- Click Confirm
What happens next
- The payment is processed instantly via the card reader
- The booking updates automatically once payment is successful
- A receipt is emailed to the customer
